In addition, you should pay attention to a healthy diet and avoid alcohol and nicotine in advance. These toxins could pass on to your baby and endanger your development as well as your pregnancy.
What dietary supplements can be useful before and during pregnancy?
As already mentioned, the intake of folic acid is very important. But also your body has to provide many additional nutrients to be able to care for your baby. Since you have to supply a second blood circulation, you should make sure that you consume sufficient calcium and iron.
Iron maintains the number of red blood cells in your body. In this way you avoid suffering from anemia, fatigue and exhaustion.
